The Moose Head Pub is a smoke free establishment.  Click here for Settler's Bay banquet information.
In the late 1990's, a well known and family owned supper club, the East Gate Inn, was expanded and fully remodeled and in 1999, became Settler's Bay Restaurant.  Located on a 5 acre parcel on the banks of the Rock River, customers enjoy the gorgeous views of the river and award winning gardens.  Canoes, kayaks and pontoon boats frequently pass as fish splash around in the sparkling river. A stroll around the property to explore the gardens or watch the ever changing river is a favorite past time of many after a satisfying dinner.

Settler's Bay has hosted hundreds of weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions in its banquet room, the East Gate Inn's original dining room.  The over a century old main bar was purchased from the Hasslinger family's bar on Moose Lake and moved to its new home within Settler's Bay.

In 2005, Settler's Bay became owner operated.  It was a huge undertaking to run such a large restaurant during the early stages of a difficult economy and an increasing presence of large national chains.  After the final wedding in October of 2008, Settler's Bay officially closed to the public as a restaurant.  Today, Settler's Bay continues to operate as a unique and affordable banquet and wedding venue.

In 2009, Settler's Bay reopened to host catered banquets and weddings using the former dining room as well as the original banquet room. Utilizing both rooms accommodates both larger and smaller events and offer the flexibility of live music, DJs and our adult game room.  The Moose Head Pub, located within Settler's Bay, is now a non-smoking, lively and affordable place to have a drink and a casual meal.  We will open up our (now former) dining room on Friday nights to seat additional guests and to host larger groups and rehearsal dinners.  We look forward to seeing you again so stop in soon.
